I am grateful that Bollywood accepted me with open arms: Sunny Leone

Mumbai: It’s been a 10-year journey in Hindi cinema for Sunny Leone, who is grateful that Bollywood has accepted her with open arms and that her film career reiterates her belief that hard work always pays off.

The actress started her career with “Jism 2” after a stint in “Bigg Boss” season 5. She then starred in the popular number “Laila” alongside Shah Rukh Khan in “Raees”.

She was also seen in the web-series “Anamika” among many other projects.

Speaking about her journey, the actress said, “When my husband Daniel Weber and I started working, we borrowed money from banks to start our first business and we made it a successful business. “When Bollywood came to us, it was the next chapter in my career in entertainment. It’s been an incredible journey since. I’m humbled. The incredible love and support my fans have given me has helped me to reach new heights, I couldn’t have done it without their appreciation.

“My film journey reiterates my belief that hard work always pays off. I love my life and I love my job.

“I have a wonderful family, a wonderful partner in Daniel, three beautiful children, a beautiful home and a career that I have worked hard for.

“I work every day, sometimes tirelessly, and I’ve never been satisfied with where I am. I’m grateful that Bollywood accepted me with open arms and I was able to carve out space for myself in an industry that only happens to the chosen ones.
